machine transcription services The Medical Office Specialist Program prepares the learner to become an efficient and skilled medical office administrative specialist with medical transcribing skills.

Emphasis is placed on the individual becoming a qualified and valuable employee in a medical office practice, medical clinic or busy medically-oriented business, such as hospitals, insurance companies, medical laboratories, and private and government operated medical records facilities. Special skills will include medical coding, insurance billing, medical transcription, keyboarding, computerized office procedures and medical terminology. Therefore, the major objective is to produce a graduate capable of performing all the skills of the training program that will result in a marketable individual.
